Beers meticulously brewed
Inspired by recipes from the 9th century, our beers are meticulously brewed in order to bring a whole range of authentic and subtle flavors. A hundred plants are involved in the making of our brews, most of which were used by the Vikings more than 1000 years ago.
Our History
Like any adventure, ours is primarily that of an unusual encounter. The one with a well-known semi-legendary historical figure, Ragnar Lothbrok. This intrepid Dane, forerunner of the Scandinavian presence in Normandy, embodies the Viking spirit and carries with him the values of rootedness, transcendence and character the restitution of which we wanted to find in our products.
The Brewery
Located in Oissel near Rouen, our factory houses our production facilities where 100% of our recipes are developed, produced and bottled. Please note that the brewery is now closed on Saturdays.

At Ragnar, we believe that quality beer can only be brewed by craftsmen who are as professional as they are passionate, as open to new ideas as they are aware of the contributions of the past. This concern for balance has driven us deeply since 2014 and sets the course for the entire crew of our beer drakkar. We are proud to share our work with you every day, in Normandy and elsewhere. L’Église-Brasserie
New in France but already existing abroad, the concept of church-brewery is based on a simple principle: to save an endangered religious building by installing a craft brewery capable of sustaining it by selling its recipes within the place and outside. This is the crazy project that we are carrying out with the Ragnar team for the Saint-Nicaise church in Rouen. Alongside our production in Oissel, we are carrying out a major worksite in this incredible location. An adventure within an adventure, not to be missed, and scheduled to open at the end of 2028.
